I found these really cute bright-colored dish towels at Wal-Mart yesterday for $1.99 each. They're with all of their new spring/summer stuff that just came out. My sister wanted some cute dish towels for her birthday, so I stitched 3 of the SanLori drink designs on them. I think they turned out really cute!

Those are definitely adorable! :dancing:
I saw those towels at Wal-Mart and at the time I didn't have any ideas as to what would look cute on them. Thanks for giving me a great idea!

What great tropical summery colors!!! (This I type in 31* wintry weather in IL! )
Makes me excited for summer vacation... and a strawberry daiquiri! (I had to look up how to spell that! The "daiquiri" part, not the "strawberry" part! ;) )
Great work- she'll love them! :)

ahhh-a cold strawberry daiquiri and a hot day by the poolside. If only.............All we've had lately in rain, rain, rain. Just the misty kind, but yucky.

Don't you just love finding a good deal, and then making it look like a million bucks? Great job!

Those towels are really cute. The colors match the summery feel of those drinks.
I'm afraid to ask this though. Did you wash those towels first? I bought some brightly colored wash cloths in that same turqouise color and a bright grassy green and another color I can't recall now but the dye runs every time soap touches those wash cloths and my hands turn blue from the turqouise. I think I need to put them all into the washer and bleach them really well to hopefully stop the color from running. I only bought them to do test stitching on but I do use them so I'd prefer not to wash my face and see blue ya know. LOL I THINK I got mine at Wal Mart too.

I didn't wash them first, but I did wash them afterwards (to rinse away the remaining pieces of stabilizer and my pen marks). I washed them in a regular load of clothes with other colors dark and light and didn't notice any bleeding onto any of the other fabrics. I hope that's a good sign that they won't bleed in the future. Now ya got me worried!!! :(

Sorry you're worried. I honestly almost didn't ask but then thought no, if it were me, I'd want someone to warn me, or at least ask ya know.

Well, I'm just going to assume that since they didn't bleed on the first washing, they probably won't bleed on the next... you know what happens when you assume though! ;)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. You're probably right though since they are fine after the first washing. ;)

I feel for ya on the snow. We were forecast to get 13 inches but scraped by with only 5 inches this time thankfully. This storm was very strange because an hour from us got 16 inches. Glad it was them and not us this time because we had the 18 inch snowfall in 24 hrs last month. I do not want another of those.

The towels are really cute. Makes me wish I was in Florida sitting on the beach at Siesta Key. I'm ready for some warm weather here in Ohio
