Okay, who's up for some AI discussion? I'm on PST so I'm only on Kristy. David A. just melts my heart though. Dang, what a cutie. I agree with Paula that night she said she could just eat him up. I'm also a fan of Brooke, but didn't think her performance the last two times have been as good as the first couple. What did you all think of tonights show? Who do you think is going home tomorrow?

I'm definitely a fan of David A. He is so adorable and what a voice! I also really like Michael Johns (Australian guy) but DH says I really just like looking at him.:p Not true...he can sing, can't he? He actually played tennis for our junior college here in Tifton several years ago, so we're all kindof pulling for him. Other than that, I've not been really too impressed with the others. I have to flip back and forth between American Idol and The Biggest Loser each week, so I sometimes miss hearing one or two of them perform.

I actually watched that show last night but don't always watch. And my biggest weakness in the entire world is remembering names so I'm not much help here BUT I do know which one is David A and his voice is great. The reason I watched last night mostly is that #1 nothing else was on and #2 I really like Dolly Parton. :D
My only comment about last nights show is that I'm starting to wonder about Simon. EVERY SINGLE girl last night, he trashed their singing yet EVERY guy, he doted over how well they did and there was one for sure that did not deserve his praises as they weren't "all that" in my opinion. What's up with that? Some of those girls voices are just as, if not more amazing than the guys. And that one girl I felt so sorry for when he trashed her for what she wore.

They are doing a story about David Archuletta right now on Good Morning America. I had no idea he was that cute little boy in 2003 that won Star Search! And by doing that show it caused damage to his vocal chords.

I completely forgot that it was Tuesday night! Darn it! I will have to watch the elimination show when it comes on. They sang Dolly Parton songs last night?

Yep, all Dolly Parton songs and she was there to coach each of them.

I agree, Vicki, there's not a whole lot of TV choices these days. However, there was an interesting Barbara Walters special on last night about living to 150. With all the Dr. Pepper's and other junk food I'm eating these days, I doubt I'll make it.
Back to AI, though. I enjoyed watching Dolly last night. I thought she was very sweet to the contestants. It'll be interesting to see who goes home tonight.
And, yes, Michael John's can sing, but it sure doesn't hurt that he's nice to look at it, too.

I had Tivo'd AI because I have to watch the Biggest Loser on Tuesday. I just watched it and yes, Michael John's can sing - in fact, I thought he was amazing on last night's episode. No one else really impressed me though. David A. was okay and I always love David Cook, but I'm kind of over the girls...if Kristy Lee or Syesha don't go home tonight I'll be very disappointed. And Dolly was sooo nice to them...I don't think she said one negative thing! Simon was way off base about Carlie's wardrobe! He has no room to talk - he basically wears the same thing every week!

Well while we've touched on the subject, let's discuss the Biggest Loser. I'm not really sure who I'm pulling for anymore. I think maybe Roger. If Mark cries one more time, I'm going to lose it! Even his wife was trying to straighten him out last night! They all look great though. I think Alli's weight loss is just amazing, especially since she did most of it at home.

I know you want to move on to BL, so I'll just say one more thing about AI and I'm sure most of you will disagree. I actually agreed with Simon's comment about Carlie's wardrobe. I'm sure they could find more attractive things for her to wear. JMO.

I agree with you....Mark has really become quite the cry baby. I was, however, impressed with him when he decided to wait and cross the finish line with Alli. He's been so overly competitive, that it was nice to see him give her the credit she deserved.
I too think Alli's weight loss is amazing. She's motivating me to get off my butt and do something.

I can never tire of talking about AI. I also agree with you and Simon about Carlie's wardrobe. I'm not a real big tats fan (one or two is okay, but all the way down her arm and up the shoulder is a little distracting.) I really think she should wear something a little more feminine maybe? She does have a beautiful voice. I almost always agree with Simon's comments, however I am a southern belle and would say it a bit nicer than he does.
Sew N Sane, that was a really nice gesture on Mark's part this week. He has been the alpha-male in the competition but cries at almost every weigh-in. Also, does it seem that he and Allie are getting a little too close? Or is it just being in such close proximity all the time and on such an emotional roller coaster that makes it seem that way? Of course, they only show us what they want us to see on these reality shows.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a great fan of Carlie's clothing choices either, but I think Simon was kind of a butthead about it. He could have been a little more tactful if he just HAD to say something.
Amen on the crying!!! I don't remember any of the other seasons being like this, but it seems like very shot they're crying and hugging... And I DEFINITELY agree that something is strange about the Alli and Mark relationship. I said the same thing to my husband last night. They are way to close and lovey dovey! I smell a scandal... But I have to agree that Mark has come a long way. He was not a nice person in the beginning and I was so hoping that he'd go home quickly, but he's grown a lot since he's been on the show. I'm always rooting for the girls though - it would be so great to see one of them win this season!

I wasn't too thrilled with her outfit either as it was pretty blah but he was SO rude about telling her ya know. It's bad enough he's so rude about some of those poor kids singing and I think he could at least mention clothing choice in a little more of a professional manner. Of course, HA silly me, I forgot who we're talking about.

Exactly! That was my whole point on my comment. I did like how the host jumped back at Simon though because he himself should be exhibiting a more professional manner as well.

Yes, yes, I agree with both of you. He could have been nicer. But, hey, after all, it is coming from Simon, how much tact do you expect? She's a cute girl.

In anticipation for tonights results, I added possible spoilers in the title. I for one won't be checking this again until I watch it later tonight. We are the last ones to get it. Enjoy the show.

It was hard, but luckily I had another commitment tonight. I just got done watching it and am pleased with the results. I was sad to see Brooke in the bottom three. Hopefully she'll pull herself back out of it next week.
I have quite a few other things out of the office tomorrow. I'll pop in to say hi, but won't be around much. Talk later, alligators.

I was pleased with the results as well, but I still can't figure out how Kristy lee is hanging in there...by a thread I guess! ;) I like Brooke as well - she's a little quirky, but she's so authentic and real. I hope she does well.

I honestly think the winner this season will be a guy. I have to agree with Simon on a lot of things, but he is a little too strong with the way he says things for sure.

I don't watch it often but the few times I have it's totally looking slanted toward it being a guy this time. Yep.
