I had to attach the file, the image button in the editor only gave me the option of entering a url. I also had to re-size the picture to 600 pixels.:(

I didn't have any problems. I always resize my pictures when I download them to my computer.
I use the Imageresizer.exe listed down on the right hand side of this page.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

It's so easy to do. It's not a program, it is a tool and all you do is right click on your pictures, then click "resize" on the smallest choice and it will resize your pics for emails and such.

I'm going to give that a try right now. If this works I would like to see this link in the upload pictures screen (so everyone can find it!) Yea it works!:)

What a cute baby. How old is he?

I use that that program, too. Can't get much easier.

Oh, come on, John, you mean you can't figure that out?:D
It's soooo easy. Sorry, I just love it when "men" have to rely on women for help.

This is a great program, when you install it you don't need to do a custom install, use the default. You wont find it in your program files, just go to your pictures and right click and choose image resize

Jami might want to make it a sticky or add it to some of the rules. It sure makes posting pictures easier, and sending pictures in emails that aren't so large.

What is your advise for making the image smaller. I've had no luck!

I use photobucket to host pictures.

It is much easier, and you can choose what size you want the picture to display.

the link is www.photobucket.com

I have been using them to host my pictures for about 7 years now, :lol. It's free, and super easy!

I'm going to have to check out Imageresizer.exe.
I just hate to change the image quality on my camera just so that I can email photos!

The image resizer is great. That way you can keep your larger pictures on file in case you want to use those to print. I usually delete the originals after I resize to save space unless they are something special.

I agree about the MS image resizer. I could not figure out how to make a avatar work, but I downloaded the program first and was able to do it without a problem. Did not even know it existed until I read about it here.
