OMG! My Yard Sale Find!

Only you all could appreciate this find. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I came up on some totes full of fabric and asked her how much she was asking for it. She gave me a blanket to throw it all on and told me when I got done, she would give me a price. There was yards of chenille, cottons, flannels, decorator fabric and cotton ginghams. There were odd ball type of fabrics like minky dot and fleeces, preety much all kinds! There were even 10 gorgeous vintage pillowcases, a new denim tote, 10 blank tshirts in toddler sizes, 3 white blank rompers(like I have seen in the boutiques) and some partly finished little girls dresses with bloomers. I got it all together and waited for the answer. I had decided in my mind what I was going to pay ad it was around $50. SHE LET ME HAVE ALL OF THIS FOR $10.00!!!! The picture doesn't do it justice. She said she does embroidery, but they sold there house and were moving into a smaller house while the new one was built. This was in a country club neighborhood. This surely helps my new applique addiction!:D

Yes, I am going to have to go buy some more clear totes to put this fabric into. The night before, I had just organized my other fabric! I will also probably asking you all for some inspiration on some of these fabrics. There is a good 5-10 yards of jersey knit fabric in a pretty heather grey, baby green and blue. I was wondering if there was anything "outside the box" that you could do with that?

Wow, what a find! No fears when you are sewing with fabric that you got for pennies (if that) a yard! Have fun with your applique designs!
