Hi and Welcome to the Embroidbles.com message board.

What you need to do is click on the Download center on the left side of your screen.
Then you will see a message how to download. And an email for extra help.
I don't know what trouble you are having.

I sent an email to the other Moderator... VICKI
She is awesome at explaining these things and helping in a technical way!
She is soooooooooooooooooo good at this!

Our download process is different than other embroidery sites. Please read the Download Instructions if it is your first time downloading.
If you need help downloading, contact us at: 1-866-456-0586

There is a link you can see at the top of all pages on the site that says "Help". Click that, or click here (http://www.embroidables.com/store.php?page=faq#Q.%20%20How%20secure%20is%20my% 20order?)and you will see the instructions for opening up the files downloaded from this site.

As far as finding them once downloaded, where are you putting your embroidery files for other sites? Your best thing is to go to My Documents and create a folder for "Embroidery Designs" and then inside that create separate folders. For example, create a new folder inside that main "Embroidery Designs" folder and name it "Embroidables". Then you can put all downloads from this site in that folder keeping them all together. Keeping them together like that assures you aren't going to download the same design twice as long as you don't change the name of the files when you are downloading them.

Does that help or do you need more info?

I also had trouble getting my designs into my machine. I called the 800 number and David walked me right thru it. I guess with mine it has to be in a folder within a folder labeled "my designs" in order for my machine to recognize it. David was VERY helpful and patient.

Where did ya go? Have you gotten it all figured out yet or do you still need some help? We're here to help if you come back again and ask again.

BJB,

I just sent you an email, with the designs attached to it. Let us know if you have any trouble getting them.

Oh thank you Jami. I had hoped she would contact you two and get the problem figured out for her. I hate seeing someone frustrated like that. I wasn't sure if you heard from her at all.

Welcome to the site. You will catch on soon enough. There are a few threads on the site already with stabilizers being talked about. If you'd like to do a search using the 'search' button in the dark pink bar above just click and type stabilizer and read through some of the threads. There is also a very good stabilizer chart here (http://www.shoppersrule.com/mm5/BackingGuide.htm)which will give you a very good head start on learning which is for what fabrics.
