Old Navy had some of their layette line, Little Bundles, on clearance in stores. I found 3 packs of short sleeved onesies for $5.97! All other Little Bundles were on sale for 35% off.

The Old Navy onesies do up BEAUTIFULLY. You won't be disappointed! (Says the woman with quite a stash of them in the basement... :o )

No worries, Vicki! I got mine in the fall during *that* clearance. :D Solid white, lt pink, bubble gum pink, lt blue, navy blue, pale yellow, and pale green. Long and short sleeves. From 0-3mo to 12-18mo. (Did I mention I'm stocked?!?)

So if anyone ever needs a onesie... you know where to find me!! :p

Oh but since you have used some of that stockpile you MUST need more by now right? hehe

This news after I "promised" DH I wouldn't spend anymore money. Figures.

I am not so good at onsies yet. (especially the small ones) I have only used gerber ones for practice. I have issues with them gathering too much. But I have not done one with topping yet so that might be part of my problem.

mandi not sure if you figured your onsies out yet but I do have a suggestin after much practice on these things...they are great gifts...I now do not hoop but use fusible on the back of the onsie, then place soluable topping on the front and position onsie onto a pieace of med. weight tear away with spray...I also pin around the perimeter of the frame and I have had great results...much better than hooping! try this method and see if you don't get better results...plus without the hooping, you can position the design higher up on the onsie so it doesn't look likew th edesign is on the stomach but rather more on the chest!
