Hi Ladies,
I have been VERY busy this last 2 months. Just thought I would share!
I made another Dutch Dance Costume for my Darcy this year, she decided to be a girl dancer and last year she was a boy dancer.
These are NOT easy costumes to make. They have to be inspected before they can dance.
People from around here understand!!!!! :D
Here are some pictures ...
1st picture is the 4 Costumes I made last year. Darcy is the 3 girl (boy costume)
2nd picture is Darcy with her new girl costume this year.
I am making her another style as she Dances at Windmill Island for a Job!
Yes... she has fun!
3rd picture is their Group picture this year!!!!
4th Picture is the group dancing last night!
Tulip Time is going on this week sooooooooooo it has been very busy watching Dutch Dance, Softball (Dani), Derek is in Soccer, and Baseball right now. Thanks goodness I can take some time to post these pictures for you.
Enjoy the Tulips!!!!

Very nice! We went to the Kinderparade yesterday and Mia wore a little Dutch dress that Shan let us borrow. Are you guys enjoying all the festivities?

Yes.. We watch Darcy Dutch Dance when we can.
Did not go to the parades this year.. My son wanted me to watch him play Baseball and soccer then to watch him in the parade.
Other years I walked with the BAND Middle school and pick up parts that broke from their instruments!
DO YOU HAVE PICTURES???
Wish I were there. Everything is so colorful. Great job with your costumes.

How cute did that dress turn out? Awesome Dawn. I was reading how the costumes must be inspected before anyone is allowed to dance because they have to meet the authentic specifications. Great job!
I had thought we were finally going to be there this year and get to see some of this but now we're not coming over there. :( Oh well. Maybe next year.

How awesome! It's so fun to learn about the traditions of various towns - we've been in and through your area but always in the summer, so we've missed the festival. After seeing your photos, I think I need to work harder to get there!

Thanks, Today started out great with DH making breakfast .... then DS3 had to go to the potty and "missed" the toilet (so I got to clean that up) and Mia started throwing up.

OH what a mess. YUCK!
On a better note ~ when they get older and get sick like Mia BUT ........it's their own fault for drinking too much the night before, you can hand them a bucket, sponge and point them in the right direction to clean it up themselves. roflmao You can ask my college boy who is home for a week from school how much fun THAT is. LOL There was NO way *I* was cleaning that mess up on Mother's Day. Nope. Have fun there little buddy. hehe
