What websites has anyone found to provide the best quality and price for supplies? (stabilizer, threads, blanks etc). Trying to find out about various supplies, has been overwhelming. What brand names have been found to work best?

I like to order thread and some stabilizers from www.kenssewingcenter.com.
He has great service and good prices on many things. I shop around and try to find the sales on stabilizers also.
I hit Hancock's when they have their half price notions sale and buy a lot then.

I like kens sewing center too. I found out that the poly-x 40 they sell is made by isacord and is an abreviated line of the same isacord colors (just by another name!)

What great responses. I can't wait to add all of these great places to my favorite list. I hope we get more.

Here's another question: Does it really make a difference what brand (sulky, floriani)of stabilizer, vs. the type it is ( tear away, wash away) to make the project great?

:D Nancy's Notions is another great catalog. You can request a free catalog through her website. She covers everything from sewing, serging to embroidery.
There are some sale items in there for Nov. 21.

They don't waste time though- if you don't order after 2 catalogs, they indicate not sending you any more.
