Gotta take my DD to ballet and to see the Christmas lights in our local park. They turn the lights on tonight for the holiday season and she has been dying to see them. I'll be back so don't go anywhere!! and don't have too much fun without me!!

okay....I"m back....did you miss me???? We had a really good time at ballet. Then we saw the lights in the park. We have approx 13 acres in our park and about 200 light displays. The kids really enjoy it!! Then we went shopping at Steve & Barry's and Walmart!! Fun evening!!!

Wow 200 light displays. That sounds impressive. It seems a little early for me though. I liked things better when Christmas to come until AFTER Thanksgiving.:confused:

My husband and I were talking about that same thing while looking at the lights. It seems Christmas overtakes Thanksgiving around here. People come from thousands of miles just to look at these lights. Oops, sorry, I was a LITTLE off on how many light displays...there's only 50 (per the web site), sure seems like 200!!!!
