beach totes, kitchen towels, purses etc.

went into town to walmart this morning...the beach tote I have shown in the inspirations contest is now $4!!!!! the kitchen towels in lime and blue that someone embroidered the san lori drinks onto are now $1....and they have a ton of different app;ique purses in cotton with various things on the front...I got on with a fish and a margarita drink..plan to but initials on them for my friends,,,they are now $4....I think the beach towels are on sale too as there was only one left today and they had tons just last week...better hurray they are going to go fast.....and summer just started for crying out loud!

Just wanted to let you know, thank you for the heads up! I had to go there anyway and found just two of the dishtowels for $1 each and I picked two of the vinyl tablecloths. Can these be embroidered on and how? We only had the kelly green with white stripes beach towels left for $4 each. We did have some fleece blankets on an endcap. They were for kids and had a little animal that made a cute sound attached to them. These were only $6 each, down from $16 or $17. They were rolled up and had straps attached to help keep them rolled up. The animals came off, I think. Really cute! I was thinking these would be good for showers or toddler birthdays. There were frogs, lady bugs, elephants and some others.

Jessica....glad you found some deals...I'm going to go back to see if there are any beach towels left...we have a pool and thought I would get whatever color is left and embroider "guest" on them for the pool house stock. I haven't embroidered on vinyl before but I bet it can be done...I have thought of getting a plain white linen tablecloth for my picnic table and placing a clear vinyl pvc type plastic over the top of it for protection..I have several very cute picnic designs that would be cute...also 4th is coming up....those blankets sound really cute...great new baby gifts for the blanks closet! I will check into them...thanks!
