Most Requested Letters

I want to do several onesies/t's for little ones that use a single first initial. I there a site or does anybody have a graph that might keep track of the most popular first initials? I know when I was in the shoe business, sizes were ordered in a range, like this

5 5 1/2 6 6 1/2 7 7 1/2 8 8 1/2 9

1 3 6 7 7 6 3 2 1

where top row is size and bottom row is number to order based on percentage. I want to keep both embroidered goods and wooden letters on hand for names and initials.

I don't have such data, but wonder if you might check a shop that has those tees on etsy and then look at their "sold" items. You might get an idea from that.

Thanks, thats a great idea! I also did a search for most popular baby names and hope I can come up with a good range for ordering / creating first initials.

Welcome to the board Laurie. I haven't got a clue either but my thought was to check some of those websites that give the most popular baby names by year. That might be of some help also.

I agree with what's already been mentioned. I am expecting a little girl in Sept. and have been doing quite a bit of name searching. The best site I have found so far is the social sec. admin (http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/). They provide a lot of different ways to search for the most popular names. I would however almost guarantee "E" is one you'll want to do. Emily and Emma are both very popular. Good luck!!
