Don't know how many of you have a K-Mart near you but I went in today and they have all their thick nice beach towels on clearance for $5.60. These are the heavy ones and some of them are embossed. They are really nice towels that maybe you could save them for next summer and embroider names, etc on. They also have the hooded towels like Superman, Batman, Ariel, Princesses, Dora and Cars on sale. I think they were under $6 too. These are great for children year round because my grandchildren love these when they get out of the bath. They love to put the hood on their heads and wrap up in. I bought all the grandchildren one for Christmas. :) One gift for each out of the way:D

thanks, we use lots of towels at the lake and the pool..want to mono. "guest" on some towels to keep on hand...thanks for the heads up

I wish I had got your tip earlier, I went to KMart yesterday morning. I was in such a rush I didn't take time to shop around, just grabbed what I had to have, I will go back tomorrow and see if they are still available. Did you find them in the bath towel section. Thanks

They were on a clearance display section with all the swimming gear, etc. The days that I noticed them was when we had the tax-free weekend last weekend so I don't know whether that was the reason they were on sale or not - the regular price on some of them was like 14-16 dollars. I think that they were just clearing them out though to make room for fall and winter things. Good luck with your local K-Mart in finding them.
