digitizing is creating the design in embroidery software from a graphic or free hand if you are that talented (I am not)

I've done a couple. I suggest take a couple of classes before you buy the software. It can help determine if you really want to tackle digitizing.

I would love to learn to digitize. I have Embird studio on my Christmas wish list, but somehow do not thing that I will be getting it this year.

Is it hard to learn to digitize? A lot of people seem to do it, but doing it and doing it well are 2 different things.
