I think I just found it! Somehow or other my dream machine ended up in Heriloomjohn's house! He even has a picture of himself with it! Honestly, I don't know how it ended up there and not at my house! :D ;)

I've never really looked at the commercial machines, they just don't look like fun to me! I don't really know anything about them. I love my 4000D and am satisfied enough that I don't even look anymore. But the one thing I have been waiting for for years is a continuous bobbin. I'd like to be able to hook up a huge spool of thread to the bobbin, just like we can for the top.

Who knows...the PR600 may do that!! :p

My dream machine would be the Janome 11000. I have the 9000 and the 10001, but I sure would love to get that 11000. :D

Hey Christy! Glad to see a familiar face here. I hope you get that machine, because I can tell you that I have the Babylock BMP6 which is like the PR600II from what I hear, and I absolutely love it!

I used to have a Janome 10000, and wanted to upgrade to a semi-industrial. Well, after lots of sweet talking, I got it for Christmas last year. It does all the trimming, and such a large embroidery field. Even after a year I'm still excited over it.

The Brother machine must be something- I will have to check this out.
Just being able to get my first machine was a dream- I will definitely have to research the one everyone is talking about.

I agree about the continuous bobbin.

Carol,
Which semi-industrial machine did you get? I would love to have the Janome 11000, but they also have a semi-industrial (I think it's the MB6) that would be wonderful to have.

One of those 12 needle professional models. I don't know the names of them, because I have never let myself look very closely. I could probably never learn to use one, so I will be happy with my little D1.
