Did you hand-stitch the edge treatment?

The font I used is on my software, it's called Eliza. I bought the throw at Pennys.

Nice gift! People love to get things with their names on them, and I think newly married brides especially love them.

If anyone is looking for throws to embroider on, IKEA has some really inexpensive ones ($5.99 in Canada so likely less in US). They all have a different edge treatment as well -- some with scallops and punched holes, others with fringe etc. They also come in several colours. I have done red ones and white ones for Christmas with redwork designs on the edges and they are quite nice to have around the fire. I have also done some with princess designs for little girls -- they are very versatile.

I just love the throw, what a wonderful gift for newlyweds. The colors are beautiful. This would be a great gift for christmas, I have four grands that love to snuggle under a throw as well as a husband. Think I am going to check out ikea and get started. Thanks for the idea.
