I have just formed a new embroidery club where I live and I am always looking for suggestions on the kinds of things people would like to learn. Input, please

I can only suggest the topics I wish I could get help on, now or when I first started.

Stabilizer- unraveling the mystery
Maybe do a project during the meeting to show a technique
HOw to get started- where you can go for info.?
What computer program(s) do you need to do what you want to do? If you are only interested in monograms, or if you are interested in digitizing designs, and so on.
Have you thought to pair up with your local sewing store to create a discount program for your members?
The secrets to embroidery- those untold secrets-I just found out that you are suppose to change your needle every time you do a new project. - had no idea... got that from a shop I visited.

I wish there was an embroidery club in my area. Where do you live? I think it is a great that you are starting a club. Good luck to you and if I hear of anything fun I will pass it along to you.
