Hi
I wanted to itroduce myself. My name is Jennifer, I haven't actually started embroidery yet, but can't wait to start. We are having a state fair this week and I decide to purchase a Babylock Emore, which I will get on tuesday. I am very excited about this and until then I am searching out answers and questions and have found this to be a great site.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and hope to get to know everyone.

Hi Donna
Yes I do sew, I make quilts and a few easy patterns on clothes. I just finished a fur coat for my daughter that was pretty easy. No I haven't done any embroidery yet but have wanted to incorperate into my quilts. When the state fair came to town and they had great deals I decided to jump in and buy a machine. I didn't realize when looking around that there was a difference and the prices were so different. I feel pretty happy with my purchase and can't wait to get my machine on tuesday.

Hi Jen, I am pretty new too. What state are you from? (state fair?) I second that you will love this site and all the help and suggestions everyone is so willing to give. I have almost gone cross-eyed reading all the past posts on lots of different subjects. I think I have learned a few things! Also love to make quilts and embroider!

It was the Tulsa State Fair in Oklahoma. There was three different dealers there, and I was able to go from booth to booth talking to them and the one I choose to go with actual called me from the store location and invited me in to do a demo and work the machines myself. I feel I got a great deal on my machine and can't wait til tomorrow to start playing... :)

Welcome Debbie! I have to admit with all that's going on in my house this past month I cannot recall if I stopped by to say hello to you. :D If I have then just consider me nuts. ;) My husband will agree with the nuts part anyway. LOL
