As I watched the ballgame on Saturday I got very nervous so I decided to make something to help settle my nerves. I needed to make my niece a birthday present and she is a big BAMA fan. I had this new houndstooth fabric and the red cord was left over from a project I did last Christmas. I bought the turtleneck.

Hello, I love the "bama" jumper! You did such a great job! Could you tell me what pattern you used? I have 2 little grandaughters who would love that jumper! The binding is so cute with the red!
Thank you, Elaine

Hope I didn't offend anyone with this dress. I am not one of those fans who rubs in a win. Heck I even cheer for Auburn when we aren't playing them. Stitchcrazy I think we just got lucky but I will take any win we can get. We are long over due.

I am sorry. I hope my posts did not offend also. Living away from the South, I pull for any SEC team as long as they are not playing Bama.

I was definitely NOT offended - I absolutely love the dress! And we took a beating from you guys, so don't sell yourselves short. I AM one of those fans that rubs in the wins, but also knows how to take the losses! You guys won it fair and square! And besides, the colors on the dress aren't too far from red and black...hehe

This is my first time posting but i just had to say i love that dress. I wish I knew some little bama girls to sew for. all we have are boys. What applique pattern did you use for your letters. I could get some houndstooth and put the bama on a pocketbook. Oh, I just have to say ROLL TIDE. It has been a long time coming. I am in a mixed marriage so I did have to sit with my hubby and act a little more calm than what I was. He is an Auburn fan.
This dress is amazing, I wish I had your sewing talent. What applique font pattern did you use?
