I happen to be watching Martha Stewart on Monday while getting lunch plates for the kids. These totes were interesting. This would be a great idea for a girls birthday party actitvity, girls scout craft, or heck if some of us to do lol.
You make these totes with fabric, stapler, duck tape.
Here is the link to watch it and get directions.

I'm surprised with Martha being the new spokeperson or whatever it is for SVM Inc that she's doing no-sew projects like that. Why not using the Viking machines and doing more with those? Hmmmmm interesting.
You've all seen the sites with the people making prom dresses and tuxes from duck (or duct tape which is the original name) tape haven't you? There's actually a huge contest yearly to make the best outfit for prom and it can only be made with the tape, nothing more. Here's the site for the entries from earlier this year (http://www.stuckatprom.com/contests/prom/entries.asp) if you never saw this before.

That's pretty cool.
I knew a guy in high school who made duct tape wallets and sold them at a school fundraiser. I think he also had a belt he made out of it, also.

A new embroidery style, duct tape embroidering. :) Hey, it is a tool that works, might as well use it. What other designs use duct tape?

The duct tape wasn't being used for embroidery at all. The post was for new-sew projects using duct tape. ;)
