Howw do you figure out how to price your embroidery work? Do you have a fee for hooping and then a fee for every 100 or 1000 stitches in the design?
I never know how to charge for the items I do embroidery on.

Good question. I bet everyone has a different answer. I usually double what the item cost or what I have in it and that includes the embroidery if it is a simple design if not I add 1 dollar per thousand.

I do a dollar per thousand also. It depends on the item also. Shirts that I buy I usually double. If it is something that is a lot of trouble, I give them a high price, hoping they won't take it (LOL)

Oh I have done that before and they usually still want the item lol So I stress over it and get it done.

I used the search at the top of the page and entered "pricing" into that because I knew we'd had a long discussion before about pricing. I know there were other threads too but this was a good o (http://www.embroidables.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132&highlight=pricing)ne for many different thoughts on the subject if you want to read through that one.
