View Full Version : Picture sharing sites??

I am kind of the unofficial photographer at my six year old's football games. I have been saving them to a cd after each game and passing it around for parents to get what they want and pass it on to another parent. Is there a site that I could upload pictures to and then all the parents could go on and look and maybe order prints off of that. I am talking about 3-400 pictures a game. How would you upload that many pictures without it taking forever?:confused:

I think Flickr has a bulk upload system, although I've never tried to load that many photos at once! You could get your free acount and check up on it there. http://www.flickr.com

flickr.com is a good one and snapfish has the same feature. I use snapfish and when I went on a cruise and took about 450 images, it allowed me to upload all at once and then sort. I did take a while but I was able to do other stuff on my computer and leave it as well. Hope this helps

Jessica, if you Google "Picasa", you can download it free, then set up a web album. I use Picasa all the time to edit my photos--crop, lighten, etc.

One of the moms from the team mentioned this site today. I think I am going to see about that one and check the others out, too. Thank you all!

OMG! I just went over to Picasa and played around. I signed up and it went through the steps. It went along really fast and easy. When it came time to upload pics, I thought it was going to be like some places I have tried before, but no this was FAST! It just sucked all of my pictures right in there! Mind you, I am very technically challenged and this was very entertaining for me. I hate having to upload pics. I love the editing features it has, also. Thanks again!:)

Personally, I've always been pretty happy with photobucket.
