What are you asking for--for Christmas--embroidery type gifts?

Gift certificates are always the right size! And they never need to be returned!

All I'm asking for is that my kids come home for Christmas.

I could use more thread, but I have to pick colors to use in designs I already have...

I love gift cards, I think of it as permission to spend money on myself and my hobbies. I also love gift cards for my son, because he already has more clothes than he can wear and more toys than he could play with, but I use the gift cards when I need them (i.e. Gift card from July for winter jacket in October)

I also love handmade gifts, because I too am crafty and I especially like when someone picks something to make because they know I like it (i.e. I love Wolves)

My dh works as a US Army civilian employee and is going to Iraq, literally right after Christmas. I just want him to stay safe and do his job to the best of his ability. I know that sounds so corny and depressing, but I haven't really been into the holidays this year. I want the kids to have fun and not think about Daddy being gone.

I don't know what I am asking for.

I want my kids to have a great Christmas. That will probably be enough for me. DH just got a job after being unemployed for 6 months, so that is good enough for my Christmas present!

that is sweet and good luck with that. I'm getting a new front door, yeah. How great is that. Well, I can't complain I want a real nice front door, but I really want a new embroidery machine, a serger, material, software, thread... ha ha just pipe dreams.

I've asked for gift certificates. It's easier than making a list (other than the sites I want certificates from LOL)

Gift cards are always appreciated. Seems like my family does not like to give them though... I have to work on changing that. Of course anything like fabric or thread is always good.

I just bought a $3000 embroidery machine. Am I allowed to have a Chrstmas list? If so, then I choose gift cards for more designs! My library is so low. You guys talk about all your designs. Someday I will have lots of design too!

OH yes, of course you can have a list. Everyone can make a list. Getting others to BUY from the list is another story. :p :D

DH and I buy what we want and for each other all year so it's hard to ask for something for Christmas. I need a new computer so I guess we'll call that my Christmas.

We do the same thing all year long in buying stuff. He just built me a brand new computer a month or so ago and remodeled my entire sewing room a few months before that. I did tell him though after watching a family get into a huge fight about who got what when their Mom died so I told him we need to revise our wills and I need to have one more big diamond so all four kids get one. :D I suspect he thought I was kidding though. HA! NOT!!

I'm with Nutmeg, I would LOVE to have the Letter Works software as well! That would be the only thing on my list. If it's the only thing on my list, then that's all they could get me!

Does Santa know you want that?

I would love a certificate for BABYSITTING! I always have someone asking if they can push the "go" button...and tripping over cords. I'm always afraid someone will pull it out right in the middle of a project!

Lol!! That is funny! I am afraid they will stick their little fingers in it, to see if it really will hurt!
