Here is my first attempt at a few stitches.

Do they look ok? Any tips on what could be better? O am using Madiera polyester thread.

I do have one question. When it starts sewing, there is this thread that just hangs out on top of the shirt and looks like it is coming from underneath. It is the color of the thread I am doing. What is it doing there? I have to hold it out oif the way. If I let it go it goes away in a bit. Actually the needle sews it right in the design. It happens everytime I sew something. How do I get rid of this PEST!!!!

I have been trying to find some racing designs but non I like or what I want. Looks like I will have to start designing my own.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob. I don't see any picture attached to your post however. If you need help posting a picture you can find instructions here (http://www.embroidables.com/forums/showthread.php?t=425) and please keep in mind any pictures of embroidery must be an Embroidables design only when you post any pictures on this forum. Holler if you need any help.

Welcome to the site too btw since I hadn't said hi yet. :D

I see another post of yours was caught in the filters Bob. I thought I'd let you know that sometimes they get caught for whatever reason and when that happens, they must be released by a moderator or admin of the site. Sometimes they can sit for awhile if none of us are online so don't worry about your posts that get stuck disappearing as they are just waiting for approval.

I also was able to view the picture you tried posting and because of the rules, I have deleted that post now. Any pictures posted here must be an Embroidables design and no other because this forum was created to discuss their designs and give others ideas of what to do with them. I'm sorry.

Bob, when you begin your color, take 5-7 stitches, so that it is secure, then stop the machine, and cut the loose tail off at the base. Press Start, and continue through that color.

Thanks,

I thought about doing that but didn't want to chance it. I didn't know if it would keep on going if I did that. Will definately be doing that from now on.

Thanks again,

Bob
