For those that have Walgreen's in your area, they have the 16 oz travel tumblers 2 for $3.00 this week. These are the clear tumblers that have the instert that you can replace with embroidery designs. I went yesterday and picked up 6. I will be going back to get more before they go off sale. The regular price is $1.99. These are located in their Christmas asile.

Our town just got a new Walgreens. I am going to check it out. I also wanted to let the group know that yesterday I was a JoAnne's for a while and overheard the lady cutting fabric that on Black Friday they will have several coupons that will last all day. Not a many will be just for an hour or two. Also the flannel that was 99 cents last year will be more this year because the price of flannel has gone up. I don't know if this will help anyone but I thought I would pass it alone.

I bought all the tumblers our local Walgreens had and then I had a difficult time getting the label off the front. Nothing worked then I happen to think that sometimes oil will do the trick. Sure enough olive oil took the sticky stuff off the front.

Yeah Walgreens is coming here. Can they be put in the dishwasher? If so, that would be a neat stocking stuffer full of candy.

I drove about 12 miles, 1 way, to the Walgreens and they had 9 in the store. They were not marked the sale price but when they were rung up they were $1. 50 each. I have never done these but am going to ck your info on how to do them. I hope I can do a good job! I was going to buy more than 9 but I am happy to get them. They will be very cute little gifts, and I will have to buy some of the Dolly Mama designs for them!

went to Walgreen's. They did not have the tumblers - or they had sold them all - I don't know. My luck - day late & a dollar short.

One of my embroidering friends told me about these at work...I haven't seen them yet, but am going tomorrow to look for them. That is a great, inexpensive gift to personalize, and I plan to make several for Christmas.

Shoot! I just drove out to mine, and they didn't have any. I'll try the one by work tomorrow. Then, I'll be stopping at every Walgreen's I see!

They weren't easy to spot at my store. I walked passed them twice. They were on the bottom shelf. They were in the Christmas section. You might want to call around. Have you checked online to see if you could get them?

Online...great idea! I'll check now. I checked all around the Christmas area. I have a few around work that I'm going to try and get to today. Thanks!

ETA: Are they decent quality?

They look very nice to me. The Christmas paper design inside just slips out to use for pattern and the top re-screws on. They look very good for the price. I had to look hard to find them at my area Walgreens, and they only had 9 left, that will do for me. I have never embroidered on paper and have to go to Staples now to buy card stock. It may not be very "inexpensisve" by the time I get done with them. Seems like par for the course for me!

Are you buying card stock to use as your embroidery back ground? I used a stiff stabilizer and used spray to stick the fabric onto it. I free motion quilted the backround after the embroidery was on it. It worked great.
