Shower Wraps

I am trying to come up with instructions to make shower wraps for little girls, sizes 4-14!! I have some pretty "hot" color towels that I thought would be cute. The girls are always wanting to wear towels around them when they get out of the tub/shower. They wind up falling off or they trip over them. Soooooo I know some of you smart ladies can give me an idea of how to make them wraps!!!! I am not creative in the sense of making a pattern or just figuring out how to do something - HAVE to have instructions of some sort!!!! You know I want to do this a Christmas gifts so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! I read in the store that there is just 42 days left until Christmas. Scary!!!!! I've just got too much to do and so little time (LOL).

ok the way I did mine was

1. did the front designs

2. made the casing for the elastic, I used 3/4 inch non roll so I made the casing just a little over an inch.

3. I did learn and will do the next time is to attach the velcro before putting elastic through. Once I got the elastic through I wrapped it around Benjamin to figure out how much elastic to have, then I pinned the elastic down and seamed it closed.

4 I found velcro that you can iron down and it's suppose to get stronger hold with each washing its a little more expensive, but for children you could probably get three wraps out of it. So once I did get the elastic in I measured where I wanted and how much velcro I would need. Then ironed it down. It was a bear with the elastic already in, that's why you may want to get the measurement of the elastic take it out and then add velcro, then put the elastic back in.

4. Put design on the back.

Kidzbizz - Did you use the entire towel? Or was there enough to make two out of a normal size bath towel? Was the velcro part the same width as the elastic casing? I know that probably sounds like a dumb question - I am just trying to get a visual!!!!:five:
