I have not had time to embroider for 6 months.:( I think it is time to get back to it. It is my relaxation but life has seemed to get in the way the past 6 months. Thanks for the emails to remind me how much i miss it.

Embroidery is an essential in your life. It is a time to relax and replenish yourself all the while doing something constructive and enjoyable at the same time. Take care and take time for yourself. Sam

Odd, we would rather listen to a machine constantly giggling, grinding, running, beeping, honking, clicking...

That is what relaxes us.

I'm already dreading parting with my baby for her first tuneup!! Will wait till after Christmas...BTW, what do ya'll normally pay for the yearly service? For some reason, I''ve got $200 stuck in my head-hope I"m wrong!

My tune up's have been steady at $80.00 and that has been for at least 4 years. I was shocked the last time that it was not at least $100. but also very thankful, because my machine wasn't working quite properly and the tune up took care of the problem!!!! Have had so much fun sewing on it since I found this web site to inspire me, now I have the opposite problem, I too hate to have to take it in to the shop, don't want to be without it!!!

I just picked mine up, it was $89.95 at the Viking dealer. It is hard spending that when your machine looks and acts fine when you take it in. When you pick it up, it looks and acts the same. It's like buying a vacuum cleaner. You have to do it and you can't really show it off.
