Not sure if I am posting in the right forum, but I am a NEAT FREAK and have been lurking and searching for more organization tips for my small sewing/laundry room. I am getting ready to tackle patterns next and I'm just not sure which way to go. I thought about the filing cabinet but still undecided.

Would you share with me your favorite organizing tool or system in your sewing room? (With patterns or any other area)
Thanks,
Shannon

Better yet, why don't you share some of your secrets with us. I bet you are great, and could give us all some tips. please. want to be a neat freak but just can't get it going with 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 4 jobs between me and my husband.

This is probably one of the hardest part for all of us ~ keeping our rooms organized where we can find everything. :D

It is something we've discussed in a few other threads. If you click at the top in the pink area on "Search" you can type in "organize" or "sewing rooms" etc and you'll get more than these, but here are links to a few other threads with great ideas and pictures too.

Vicki, Wohoo! Thanks for the links. That's what I was looking for. I am fairly new and didn't think about looking at past links.

Sewingfor3 I don't think I could be much help. I have 5 kids, oldest (living at home) had a baby 8 days ago, 2 step kids with 2 granddaughters, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 5 rentals. I am thinking if I could get more organized that I might get a few more minutes out of the day. It's a dream anyway.
