Oh, I know your pain!!! I use to spend hours finding designs, getting free designs, purchasing ones on sale, or buying ones I just HAD to have. I really spent more time getting designs than I did embroidering them out. That lasted less than a year and then I had to purchase a way to organize my designs because I had no idea what I already had.
I love the iconizer on the Embird program! You can see miniature pictures of the designs you have...you can even print out your own catalog. Once I realized how much I already had and that the internet wasn't going to dissappear tomorrow, I became much more selective in what I downloaded. I also just started adding favorite sets to my favorites list as a link...then whenever I had extra spending money I could look back at the ones I'd been thinking about for some time already. It has helped me a lot!! Good luck--it is addicting!!

Ok, I can feel the pain too. I also have reached the same limit with downloading freebies, buying sales, had to haves; and I also have bought an organizer. I am much more selective than I used to be, but I have not had time to organize all of the ones I currently have. Part of the problem is that I have 2 computers and I am on my 2nd laptop. I have too many copies of all of my files and not enough time to sort through it all.

If I could just convince my husband to let me quit my job, I might be able to get it under control in about 6 months.:p

I'm really good with a computer, and great at collecting and editing designs, but very chicken about embroidering... I'm so perfectionistic I'm worried about mistakes.. had some 'loopies' a while ago, and it scared me a bit, so I've been a bit reluctant to do another design.. WAS not a design from here, though!
