View Full Version : Clothing Blanks
Hello
I am just getting started with my embroidery business and was wondering if any of you could recommend where you buy children and adult clothing blanks? I love all of the projects that are being shared and really love these designs!!! Thanks in advance for your help:)

LK ~ These are some of the places I've either bought from or have gotten a good recommendation from someone else.
Company Casuals (http://www.companycasuals.com/catscreations/b.jsp?id=622&parentId=122)She can get things that you don't see on her site so email and ask her if you don't find what you're looking for.
Sewphisticated Stitcher (http://www.thesewphisticatedstitcher.com/) She's got a lot of great stuff. I've ordered from her before. Sign up for her newsletters and you'll get specials emailed to you.
Embroider This (http://www.embroiderthis.com/index.html) She's got a lot of stuff on her site. Mostly clothing for babies but a great assortment of other things. I've ordered from her also.
Wendys Treasures (http://www.wendystreasures.com/) Clothing and a lot more here. Great site.

Can you speak to the quality and/or prices of these? I just asked them for a print catalog/price list. There are some DARLING things there (like the denim jumpers! ).

The quality is good from this website. Their ordering is a bit primative but I have never had a complaint as far as the quality goes. The prices are average but the more you order (same style and size) the better the price.

I use S&S Activewear (www.ssactivewear.com ) whenever possible, but I'm sure going to explore those listed above - thanks for the info! (To order from S&S you will need a resale number.)

I always love it when someone asks this question, while I don't have a business I stitch for lots of friends and family so I am always on the lookout for new sources. Thanks for all the info. Terry

B Joy, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!!!!!!
I have been looking for the long sleeved girls ruffled shirts! I knew they were out there b/c I have seen them at various shows. Everyone cuts the tag out of the shirt, so I had no idea of the brand!!! I am so excited!
Thanks Misty

Thanks LK for asking! I am happy for these links, also. Be sure to let us know what you find.
Thanks for all of your suggestions, all of these places have some great products!! I found duffle bags that I had been searching for at Wendy's Treasures.

You can buy them individually...it just costs more.

Does anyone have any great projects for Valentines Day that might sell at a school or community craft auction.
Thanks,
Lenita
Thanks for the links. I will check them out even though I don't have a business other than the business of finding great gifts for my family and friends.

Hello everyone,
Just want to make sure I do not need a business license to order blanks. Could someone let me know???

It depends on the site you are ordering from. There are many now that cater to the home embroiderer and because of that you won't need that business license.

Sweet Baby Creations-thanks for the update...you're just South of me off I-65. There's quite a few people from Alabama on this message board...it's the best one out there for sewing/embroidery fanatics.
just wanted to bump this in case someone else had more good sites for blanks. I am always searching . :)

A vendor I saw at the Sewing Expo in Puyallup, WA is called "All About Blanks" Their website is: www.allaboutblanks.com (http://www.allaboutblanks.com/)
They have quite a few things and I purchased at the expo a darling baby dress in white with a sailor collar, a diaper cover (panties), some dish towels, and a window-pane check white blouse which can be embroidered in each of the squares of the window panes.
Hope this helps.
