I am trying to attach a .jpeg photo of a pillowcase I made, but I get a message telling me the file is too large. Does anyone know how to reduce the file size? Thanks.

yes, when you search, and before upload the photo you must resize it or change the quality the photo, in a program of photos.

Download this free program http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

scroll almost all the way down and look for image resizer and download that...Once it's installed you click on the picture you want to resize and it will give choices of what size ou want it to be..HTH

see my deck in the snow in the morn !:D

First of all I want that view, then I want that incredible deck to see it all from. Woe is me......so jealous......first a rockin' machine......then a rockin' view out your back window

I have been looking for a link like this. Thank you for including it. I have two or three photo software packages and I can reduce with them but I do not have enough control, and most times can't get the image small enough. I guess it is a case of too many jpegs for the job.

I'm just learning the picture thing and really appreciate the help here. I'll give it a try and if it doesn't work -- guess what? I'll be back here with my questions.

Good luck. If you haven't read the tutorials I created, they may help you more than here. Click here to find those. (http://www.embroidables.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=14)

I think their is a way to do it in photoshop to. I wish I remembered exactly. I can't remember if it is when you go to resize, if it gives you that option or not. I use to have the same problem and I think I fixed it in photoshop.
