I am attempting to teach myself the viking 4D organizer software. I have loaded it, along with the driver for the reader / writer. The machine I am using is a Scanivian 400.
Actually, I use a Janome, but I am doing this for a friend who has a fatal disease. She is attempting to keep her mind busy with embroidery. but she didn't want to take the time to learn the software.
She only wants to be able to download designs to a card so she can stitch them out.
My problem - I can not get a design to down load to the card - I cannot open the communication to the card reader writer.
any help would be appreciated.
