Here are some burp cloths I made with Embroidables.com designs.
I found the matching fabric at our Fabric store in town. Same designer as the embroidery design. Bubblebee was a free design if you did not know! :o)
Enjoy!
I will be adding more pictures down the thread... keep looking!

Oh my gosh! Those are adorable! You are really going to make me feel guilty for spending so much time on the computer. I guess I'd better get back to that machine and finish the ones I had started. Mine aren't using Embroidables designs though so I'm not sure if we're allowed to post our projects here using other designs.

Do you fold your diapers in thirds to make your burp cloths? It's been so long since I bought any cloth diapers, I don't even know how they come these days, but I need a refresher, all my son's friends are having babies and I have lots of showers coming up.

hI, I have made a few of these. You purchase pre folded Gerber gauze diapers, Wal M has them the cheepest and Toys R the same price.
Get that far and then I will give you the rest of the details I took photo's of the steps I used. Might start a new thread with them.
I love picture books;)

I used some of the already made cloth diapers, but I found it is better to buy pre-fold gerber with no lining, or flat fold. The gerber pre-fold with lining has fiber-fill inside, and it makes a mess when you wash them!
I love the frog designs!!! Very cute burp!!!

Burp Cloths! I have heard these mentioned several times in other sewing forums and boards but I had never actually looked at them. I had no idea what they were because I have no kids. But those are SUPER CUTE!! I am inspired, which is good because I just found out in the last two days that two of my sisters are pregnant. I told my husband, co-workers, and friends that things do NOT always come in 3's!

Luciana - they are cloths used for wiping a baby's face when you burp him and he spits up or when he is teething and drools a lot. People usually use a cloth diaper because they are very soft and absorb a lot.

I love your burp clothes...They are one of my favorite things to make...In the northern part of my state they sell for $13.00 each...of course I can't get that price here,,,but still like making them...I give many away for baby showers..Sometimes I sew fabric to go with the design down the middle of the padded part, front to back....

Not a problem. Your English is very good. I do not have any trouble understanding what you are trying to say.
I think fralda sounds so much nicer than burp. When my children were little, I used to call them tummy bubbles.

I'm not the one that posted those, but yes, the prefolds are the best to use in my opinion. I've used both and even bought my own diaper fabric to make my own thinking it would be cheaper. HA! NOPE. Pain.in.the.butt! Now I have a ton of that fabric with no use for it that I've found yet.

Again, I'm not the one that posted them, but yes, I back the diapers with the same fabric I put at the top and bottom. After I'm done making them, if you turn them over the added fabric onto the diaper looks like a capital I if that makes sense. I've also covered the entire back and also just from the front over to the back as far up as the embroidery to cover that. I haven't perfected "my" favorite way yet but I've made tons of burp cloths.
