I have found myself buying a lot of fabric for that what if moment. I think once I get "the sewing room" down in the basement, it might be scissors. I do buy a lot of designs, too. I also try to use them, too.

haha, I have a sewing room, my husband has a zen-like "study" (the cats and I are not allowed in that room we will mess it up) then we have an office with the computer and filing cabinet, and then we have the normal rooms in a house....of course we have no kids...haha
I am a fabric and patternaholic....now if only I could find the time to introduce them all to each other....hmmm

Well first and foremost I'm a Quiltaholic (I have been quilting for 15 years now).....but I'm also a fabricaholic and threadaholic.....I'm also quickly becoming a sewing machineaholic (even my back up machines have backup machines LOL - my 3 most used machines are my Janome 6600 for piecing, my Brother PE700 for embroidery and my HQ16 frame system for machine quilting)

Oh Boy! I really don't want to admit to all of this. I am Jen and I am a:
Knit, yarn, embrioder, sew, fabric, quilt, cross stitch, bead, craft, stash, etc. - aholic. I am sure I missed something. :o

Since having children, I think I collect dust bunnies more than anything else. ;)

I buy fabric with ideas in mind, and designs- designs - designs... I keep looking for any blanks that are on sale too. I get things for the "just in case". Embroidery supply sales are my big aholic issue ( threads, stabilizers, blanks)

I could probably go on and on-

I buy so much fabric,,,especially with Walmarts down sizing their fabric department, I buy every time I enter the store...It's like a magnet drawing me to the fabric dept...And then when I read posts about notions that people use and think are wonderful,,I have to have that also...Thread, oh my goodness I have just about every brand and my machines love all of them...but I never have the exact color I need for a project so have to purchase more...then all the software programs to resize, upsize, downsize, etc.,,,,when does it stop???LOL But, it keeps me sane and that's about the only thing I spend money on...when I think about it that's why I can't spend money on anything else, it all goes to my addiction...LOL

You are too funny! I feel your pain- of never having the right color of thread. I am glad to know that I can share this thread with my hubby, and he can then see I am not the only one out there like this! Great response!!!:D

I want bjoyed's house. I cannot imagine being able to have that many rooms!lol

You have to live in the backwoods to have a house & a yard like that. You could buy a descent house in Maine for the price of a shack that has been condemed in Connecticut. Running watter and electricity are optional :D

I have a living room/computer room/baby's play room, 2 bedrooms, a craft room/kitchen (but who needs a kitchen when you can't cook?) and luckily a bathroom with running water... some days I'd trade it all in for a cabin in the woods, electricity and running water optional, acerage required! :D

As for aholics... I'm sure I can beat you all, Stephen even knows how to sew... and he's pretty good at it too. If we could downsize we would, but I guess I better get to work and find a bigger place....

Do I have to admit to them all? Let's see...I'm a life long 'ohlic for....fabric, sewing machines (28 at last count) scissors, quilt hoops and frames (years of hand quilting). And now for the last few years add designs to that. I really don't count the embroidery thread because I think having a complete set of 2 brands of thread a necessity, not a fetish!

I love fabric and I find fabric in some of the most funniest places. I go to a thrift store and look at clothes like oh do you know what that shirt or dress would look cute as.

I am a Idea Aholic. I come with great ideas or see great ideas and buy all the stuff to make it, and I never do it. I know, I know, some of you are probably falling off your chairs right now, but it's true. I just need more time in a day!
Hey HEIRLOOMJOHN, wasn't it you that was going to make a clock that gave us more time in a day? How's that coming along? I'm waiting! :D

I am a chocoholic, and sewing wise I suppose I am a design aholic. I can not pass up a good freebie. You just never know when you might need that one.
