I bought a gross of NEB prewound white poly bobbins (they are plastic bobbins) and they work great on my Brother PE700. I use them with all of my Madeira threads and have never had a problem :)

pre-wound bobbins have more thread on them than you can wind on your machine - less changing of bobbins! Thread is also finer so less bulk on the back of your embroidery - works great

Hey guys, thanks for the info on the pre-wound bobbins. For some reason I have never used them, and I just hate winding bobbins. I need to find some and save myself a lot of trouble.

I love prewound bobbins. Singer says not to use them, but I've not had any issues with them on my Futura.

'course they do - then you have to buy more singer bobbins!

I have a Janome machine and have used NEB prewounds for several years, even though there are those who say they will cause problems. The bobbins are an eense shorter than the regular Janome bobbins, but I have not found that to be an issue. I LOVE not having to wind bobbins. Too many other more fun things to be doing!!
