Her 'hurd'? LOL I think she and David should print that starter kit out and take pictures. We don't have even ONE of those anywhere near us. :(

Heck we JUST finally got Sonic near here that just opened. We haven't gone over there yet though. Just before they opened one of the construction guys got buried on the property (http://www.wifr.com/home/headlines/46658932.html)when the ground gave way on him. Poor guy was stuck there for hours and hours while they worked to free him while all these people were wandering around staring at him. I can't imagine how horrible that must've been for the poor guy. Actually I haven't even checked yet to see if they are open.

I wanna go to Chick Fil A since everyone says how good it is. I need a re-do there because while travelling a few years ago Curt and I went to one somewhere but I wasn't impressed.

This post and the marketing they are doing for this promo depresses me. You're right. I do love Chick-fil-a! It's my all time favorite fast food place. However, can you believe they don't have one in Portland. In fact, the closest one to us is SLC. They used to have one here about 9 years ago, but they closed it down due to not enough business. Whose ever heard of that? I was shocked. Everytime I get online and read another facebook post or blog about this, I cry. Not really, but I might as well.

So for everyone that has a Chick-fil-a close by to them, please dress up like a cow and eat there for me today. :D

It's not one of my favorite places to eat, but my grandson loves to eat there. Pickles on a chicken sandwich just isn't a big hit with me lol. I do like their waffle fries.

while we are posting just for the sake of posting, and even a whole year later...y'know what fun2sew AND jami????

chicken butt...NOOOOOOO...thats not really it, but it just popped into my mind...we can say chicken butt here can't we? i would hate to get kicked out on my b....word so early in my forum life...a mere 30 posts into my posting life...ok less than 30 now, but i will be up to 30 before tonite ends...anyway...i can really waste time, sheesh...

NOW!!! ABOUT CHICK FIL A:

i don't know if it is the same everywhere, but here in the D/FW TX area, Chick Fil A honors old coupons...and when i say old, i mean oldy moldy old...i once used some from the 1800's...snicker...not really...but i have used some that were over 6 years old! I guess they still do that. ask first just in case, they did last time we went.

and also, they usually have the calendars every year that are around 5 bucks each...you can buy as many as you want and they always have much more that 5 bucks worth of coupons...so we buy about 5 calendars and cut off all the coupons and keep filed by category...we save so much money doing that...but we do try to spend more there just to make up for it....i LOVE their lemonade...lemonade is my very favorite besides limeade, but no one has limeade..

anyway, that is a great way to afford more EMBROIDABLES designs (i betcha didn't think i could get this one morphed into an embroidery post, but i did! i did!) now i am hungry for fast food and nothing is opened at 3:38am on saturday nite unless you count jack in the box...should be sleepin' anyway...i would be if i could tho...night owl who needs a silent sewing machine for nights like this so i don't bore the forum people silly!

oh, no! after posting all of that great chick-fil-a info, i decided to read the whole thread and now it seems that NO ONE even has a chick-fil-a near them...well, i can fix that...PARTY AT MY HOUSE! first exit past the chick-fil-a and turn right, then right then left then left...close enough for take out that is still warm when you get it home...sorry no one gets to try my awesome coupon and calendar ideas...right at the time of year when the calendars come out...awwww...so sad.
