We had our family pictures taken!

We have never gone to have a family picture taken! Keith and I have been married for 13 years. It has always been one excuse or another on my part or just not taking the time to do it. I squeezed it into our busy schedule and survived it! I thought we might lose a kid or two at some point, but they all made it through. LOL! It was a hot and sticky two hours outside. With Keith having been gone most of last year and leaving again for Iraq in January I thought it was well worth the time to have some pictures to cherish!

Those are fabulous! And big kudos to you for having the patience to get them done. I KNOW how much it takes for a mom to get the family ready for the pictures and then trying to keep everyone happy through them is a whole other story. That's why we don't have family pics too often. haha. You'll treasure those forever!!! You've got a gorgeous family, you included!!!!

Thanks, Jami! I always was saying when I lost some more weight, but I don't have time to wait for that to happen! LOL! I just told the photographer to do what he could and pray for the best! We went to dinner after we were done and Keith ordered the biggest size beer he could buy on draft. Not sure why?:confused: Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall watching families get their pictures taken?

Lol. That's funny about the beer. I can't imagine why? Silly.

Oh girl, you've got three kids...it's hard to find time to lose weight...I can relate. I'm trying to shed my "baby" fat and it's tough when you've got little mouths to feed that aren't on diet food. I'm proud of you for doing the pictures. We gotta learn to love who we are. ;)

GORGEOUS pictures. Way to go Mom for pushing those to be done. I have to laugh though at that 2nd picture. Those poor starved children appear to have wilted while waiting for their lunch. LOL

Those are absolutely beautiful. I admire you for going ahead and having them done. I wanted a picture of myself and my grands. I wanted it before the 3 5&6 yr. olds lost their front teeth. They lost their teeth and their mothers have cut their long beautiful hair into bobs. That's what I get for waiting.....they don't look little any longer.........
