I belong to a scrapbooking site here in the UK, each week we have a challenge to produce a layout using certain elements, this week one of the elements is to use cotton on the layout, relating to it being national cotton candy day, in the USA, please can someone tell me about this ?

I suspect you may not get too many answers to this question. The reason I say that is mainly because I, as well as others I suspect, have NEVER even heard of this before now. LOL

I did a search and came up with this (http://www.holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/December/cottoncandyday.htm) but what I can tell you is that this is NOT a day that we celebrate in any way, shape, or form; or at least not one that is nationally celebrated. Possibly this could be celebrated in some areas but it's nothing that is a major celebratory day that I know of. Maybe I'll be surprised and someone will post about this 'holiday' to prove that I am out of touch but I'm certainly not holding my breath on that one. :D

I did wonder why any one would celebrate candy floss as we call it hare in the UK. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

No problem. I had to look it up since I'd never heard of this before.
