I am a very well versed cook but you have totally stumped me. What is a gammon? I'm assuming that is the same as a ham?

Yes a gammon joint is the same as a ham or bacon joint. We all speak English but have differant names for certain things.

I hate cooking so I never even noticed this forum LOL. Janet when you say cola do you mean as in coke cola?? I have never heard of using this for cooking. We just roast our gammon in olive oil with foil over it. They have it for tea tonight actually...we are still eating leftovers from Xmas:D
