Here we go again . A repeat of Dec. 09. It is about 4:15 eastern time and it has started to snow. Best thing to do is some sewing or embroidering.
Took advantage of the 30% so I guess I will do some embroidering. I have enough food in the house thanks to my husband. He said we needed to get more food we really didn't need a thing. Have four loaves of bread in the freezer. I did buy some yeast as I like to make bread. Hope we are not snowed in for to long.

I remember when living in New York and Virginia, with any forecast of snow how crazy people would get at the supermarkets! I always wondered what they planned on doing with all the bread, milk and toilet paper that they would buy! The last time that I lived in an area that they forecasted 10" of snow, one woman had 3 gallons of milk, three loaves of bread and the mega sizetoilet paper. I couldn't help but ask her how many people lived at home with her....I was shocked when she said it was just her and her husband!

that's what it's like in FL when a hurricane is approaching. People buy some weird stuff, though. At least the grocery store get to clean the shelves.

Hi Ladies, well at least for those of us on the northeast mid-atlantic who are a bit house bound due to two feet of snow, there is just more time for our sewing. I'm working on a baby quilt with every other block an embroidery design from here. I'm very pleased with how it is turning out.
With the sunshining today everything looks beautiful.

It gets a bit crazy in the shops here in the UK, when we get snow, good job we don't get that much of it.

We are getting it again. Winter Storm Warnings are already posted for Tuesday afternoon. I don't know where we are going to put all this snow.
I am getting my sewing done which is good.

Holy cow! How much snow did you get over the weekend? I have friends in the Washington DC area that got over 30 inches  and they are forecasted for another 10-20 inches Wednesday! I can't even imagine trying to shovel all of that! Have fun catching up on your sewing and embroidery...and stay warm too!

Hope you won't mind but I'm doing as much as I can to push our snowstorm your way just as fast as possible. :D
By tomorrow we are supposed to have as much as 12 inches. This one started about 10pm last night and is forecast to head your way by the weekend. Get ready for round 2. Have the stores stocked up on food yet? I know how those out East shop like it's the end of the world when these storms are headed that way.

It has been snowing since last night and it is now Wednesday around 5:30 and we are having a blizzard. It must be snowing 2" an hour. I have never seen so much snow. We do not know where to put all this snow. It is not supposed to stop until around 10 PM. What a winter.

I was just saying to myself, I wonder if Stitchn-Jeans has power. I know that a friend of mine out your way has lost power.
I must say that everything this morning looks beautiful with the sun shining on and through the snow. But it will be a while before we are dug out.

Yes we have power. Yesterday we lost it for about one hour but thank God it came back on. I had my daughter with her two boys staying with us as her husband was on a business trip ..how lucky to Florida. He just called me and he is on his way to pick up the kids . My daughter was able to open her nail salon today and is busy this afternoon. My husband had to go to the gas station as we ran out of gas for the snowblower. I hope we don't have anymore blizzards. Monday of next we may have more snow. I hope not.

WELL - Believe it or not they are forecasting snow for good ole Georgia tomorrow!!!!!!!! They are saying 2-4". I have been in the kitchen making 80 cupcakes, goodie bags, and refreshments for 3 of the grands Valentines Parties tomorrow and on the news they just announced that the schools will be closed in case of the bad weather!!!! Now you know if I had not baked the first thing because I was expecting snow - it would not have snowed 1 flake! They are saying it should start before lunch soooooo 4 grands will be at my house because the parents have to go in to work. My hope and prayer is that they can come and get them before we get snowed in for the weekend! I love my babies but I cannot imagine!!!!(LOL) And you know us Southerners are - we don't see snow that often and 1/2" will cripple the city.:afraid:

This has been some week for us in southeastern Pennsylvania. With all this time spent indoors how come I'm still working on my baby quilt. Honestly, I get so frustrated with myself. Anyone else could have made two king size quilts made by now.....LOL...excuse me ladies....I'm just having some whine with my cheese :) Maybe I've been in too long.
