Help With Kiwi Paper

I am trying to embroider on kiwi paper, can you only use large fonts? I tried several times to write small words and it doesn't work so well. Any suggestions appreciated.

I never had much luck with small designs because it would turn out almost like a "punch-out". I had to switch to a medium or large letter. Someone may know a trick that I don't know which is very possible! Good Luck

The only designs I have stitched out onto Kiwi paper were medium to large lettering. I tried a few smaller and like Granny313 says, they punched out of the paper. When I did a search for kiwi paper on google, every site suggests that you use a design with "traditional density". Good luck!

I've been making cards on kiwi paper this week and use an outline font with no problem. I reduced the tension a bit and used a #11 embroidery needle. There is an article in the Jan/Feb issue of Creative Machine Embroidery on paper embroidery....check it out for lots of suggestions.
