Does anyone have any creative ideas for Father's Day gifts? I have been making grill aprons for a couple of years (with all different sayings on them) and while they are very popular, but I get bored of the same items every year. I also make golf towels, but that is a limited audience and once you have one...not a repeat purchase.
So I was wondering if anyone ideas for Dad's gifts that they would like to share. :ciao:

You sound like me in not wanting to send anything I've done before. We gave up on trying to find new things for hubby's Dad since they have everything. We've moved to sending food or gift cards to Home Depot or Lowe's since men are ALWAYS drooling over something in a hardware store. LOL

My husband cannot go into a hardware store and not need to have something (kinda like me in a fabric store:o )! His favorite is Harbor Freight; we have about 1/2 the store in our garage.

Well see there, that's your answer. ;)
My FIL is diabetic so a few years back I chose to send him an awesome popcorn popper which I have used for 30+ yrs. My Mom had one which is where I learned of them. Oh geez, we won't discuss how many years but it just dawned on me that it was more than 30 yrs since my oldest son will be 28 yrs old this year. oops.
Anyway, this is a popper that goes on your stove and it cooks your popcorn almost as fast, if not faster than in a microwave and only needs to have 1 T of oil so a lot less grease/fats. And none of the extra crud added to microwave popcorn either. I got him the pre-packaged popcorn/oil/seasoning packs so all he has to do is open those and dump into that pot making it super easy. He LOVED it. Now that's what he looks forward to getting every single year when we send more. I either send it for Father's Day or for part of the Christmas presents. They both love the taste of the popcorn from this site too because it's great quality and leaves very few unpopped kernals. Back when I bought my first one you couldn't find them in the stores but now they are in the store or you can get them online too. As I said, I buy their popcorn now for him and us because it's so good and super quick with the packs being ready to use.
Whirly Pop (http://www.popcornpopper.com/24000.html) If he likes popcorn this is a good idea.

Lizanne,
I wish I could say that I was that well prepared (although I have made 1 Christmas gift already!). Father's Day is the third Sunday in June, so it will be here in less than two weeks.
