The England v USA, football match is on in just over an hour, how many of you will have the match on in your house, I should add its 18.43 here in the UK.

My son would have loved to see it, but unfortunately we don't have TV service. :( He's been asking to watch some of the highlights on the Internet so I'll have to find some good ones for him.

I watched about 30 minutes of the England v US soccer (football) match last week (while painting our guest bedroom). I know many people who are watching every second of the World Cup that they can, but I prefer to watch American football. All three of my cousins played soccer for many years, but growing up in NYC it wasn't a popular sport.

Soccer is pretty popular here - lots of immigrants in Canada so people support their "home" countries. My husband is Dutch and keeps up with their games. My daughters' school has a lot of Italians and they are crazy about the whole thing!

Well done to the USA for going top of the group and going through to the next round with England.
