:) We had family come down from the Nashville area. A couple of them had work for me. I made $120.00 this weekend. Once we got everything done downstairs, the women came upstairs. They are fascinated by the whole embroidery machine thing. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yep, my SIL is always buying stuff from me, and I'm usually getting orders/delivering orders when she comes - in fact, she's coming tomorrow for Thanksgiving at DH's parents, and I am finishing a bag for her tonight!

That is awesome. I try not to push family but they always want to have something done.
I've been talking to friends and family about buying registered towels for couples who are about to get married. I then put each name on the towel and it adds such a nice touch for not a ton of money.

I have seen people who are amazed at the embroidery machine!
My MIL came here for a visit in september. WHile she was here, she had a birthday party for a one year old to attend, and we ended up making a pair of sweatpants, monogramming 3 onsies, and the birthday dress, haha!
It was a ton of fun, as I usually work alone in my sewing room, so having her here was a blast!

It is neat to have company in the sewing room. All my stuff is in the bonus room upstairs and I sometimes ask my dh to come up and just watch tv up there to keep me company.
