Brother Innovis 4000D Owners

Do you guys love or hate your machine?

I have a brother, and really I love it!!
It´s easy to do and easy to fix when it brokes!!!

I have the 4000D and totally love it. I've had it just a few months over one year and the only time I had a problem, I needed a new bobbin case. The repairman said that most likely a very small piece of a broken needle had gotten down there and worn a hole in the bobbin case. Other than that, if I've had a stitching problem, I've been able to correct it by rethreading, changing the needle or reinserting the bobbin.

Connie, do you go to Barnes for your Brother dealer?

I have the Brother 4000LTD which is the same as the D only in black. I have had mine since September. So far so good. It is my first embroidery machine so I don't really have anything to go by but it has been very easy to operate and I have had no problems at all so far.

I don't have a Brother, but there seems to be a lot of positive comments about them everywhere I go on the internet. I grew up sewing on a Brother sewing machine, and I loved it.

Sixinthenest, yes I do go to Barnes. I did not buy the machine there; I purchased it in TN last year while we still lived there. I've only been in Barnes 3 or 4 times; they are the ones who replaced my bobbin case though. It seems like a very nice store.

I've had Gertie for just over a year and I love her! No problems at all.

Just make sure you have a Great dealer. I live in Ca. Bought three machines from dealer and they didn't take care of me on my 4000d. You have one year on the Innovis for repairs. But if you should get a lemon it is suppose to be replaced.

I have changed dealers. The biggest problem was my dealer.
