Nice job I like the Candy Cane fonts too and have had fun using them.
Next photo can you post a little bit larger?
Verry pretty.

When I resized it to post, I kept resizing and trying to upload the picture. It would tell me it was to large, until I got to the very smallest size and then it let me upload that one. I tried all the sizes. I wanted it bigger, too.:(

They are stitched on standard sized pillowcases. I hope that is what you are asking. I used clear plastic bags and cut the closed end off and cut up the middle, so I have one long piece of plastic. I fold the pillowcase so the name is showing and roll it up in the plastic and tie off the ends with red/white gingham curling ribbon.

What a cute idea for packaging! Quick question though...I thought we weren't supposed to sell items with her designs on them. Am I incorrect in this? (Not trying to be a party pooper or anything, I'd just emailed her about it a few years ago and was told essentially no due to copyright policies).

If you think you will be selling more than 20 of something with a design on it, than you can buy a commercial license to sell your product with that design on it. They are very reasonable and flexible about how much the commercial design price cost. There was so much info, I couldn't begin to post all of it. You only buy the license on the designs you think you will be selling more than 20 of, not on everything you buy from their website. I like that option. The more I learn about their website and the great customer service, the more I want to come back!:)

Sew So Happy, this is such a cute idea! Thank you for sharing it with us. Because of your posts with the candy cane alphabet, I think that is the one I will get with my store credit. Your wrapping makes it even more special!

Also, thanks for talking about the commercial license for doing over 20. I haven't sold anything yet, but people are starting to ask me about it. Nice to know we have that option with Embroidables designs.

I just love your idea! I don't have any grandchildren but several great nieces and nephews that would just adore these pillowcases. The alphabet could be an early Christmas present for me!

This is very clever. This is going into my file of great projects for next year. I usually start sewing Christmas in May (or right after Easter). Love the Holidays and that is what I do the most. Fun pillowcases would be great for the grandchildren.

Thanks for the super idea!

The Candy Cane pillowcases are great! Question: Does the font package include the lower case letters you used?
Thanks

Thanks so much!

The candy cane font does not include the lower case letters I used. The lower case letters are from Monogram Wizard Plus Alpha Pak #12. They are called Tipsy.

Thanks for the information about Monogram Wizard. This will tell you how little I know about machine embroidery. I checked out the Monogram Wizard software and it looks like it uses PES format. I have a Bernina that uses ART format. Does that mean that I can't use the Monogram Wizard software? And if that's true, what monogram software is out there that would work and is recommended?
Thanks again!

Barb, I just checked the program, and art is not a format that is available. I don't know about any others--I consider Monogram Wizard the best. Maybe someone knows if there is a conversion program out there, hopefully free, that would let you change formats to art format?

Those are so adorable! I am so glad it was bumped up. I may have to start on these now so I will have a stock pile by Christmas!
