Another Dolly Mama dish towel..

This is one of the designs I got with my $25 credit. I made this one among an assortment of towels for my friend in New Orleans that stayed with us during Katrina.
Her house was flooded and had to be gutted. She had to start from scratch rebuilding except for the walls. She just got moved back in this past summer. Katrina was 2 years ago in August.
I wanted to do a little something special for her for Christmas, and I knew she'd love this sign

Yes, VickiT, the ribbons are stitched on. That's the way I do most of the towels I give away.

I love the way you finished the design with the ribbon. I am just about ready to committ to the Xmas Dolly Mama's and bought a dozen waffle like dish towels while on vacation last week but couldn't think how to jazz them up for the Holiday's, thanks for the inspiration.

What a great job for a great purpose from a great friend. I love these towels and the designs are so cute. The ribbon adds to the overall effect and makes the whole towel just "pop."
