Bernina Deco 650 and the Amazing Box

I have "inherited" this machine and The Mini Amazing Box. I would like to use the machine to embellish Christmas gifts, but every time I try to write my designs from the computer to the card, my computer shuts down and reboots. I am running Windows Vista and I think that might be the problem. Can anyone who has this machine help me with this? I would appreciate any information or suggestions.

I don't think its your machine... but maybe the Amazing box... is there a support # you can call??? maybe there is an update for Vista for the Amazing box software??? Just a guess.

I just thought I'd do a quick search since I had a few seconds. (Sorry I didn't have the time earlier this morning)
What format are the designs you're using? I saw elsewhere someone saying the deco cards for Bernina require the .pes format. If you aren't using that file format it might be worth a try to convert them to .pes and see if that does anything more.

Further checking I found commets dated back to 2007/2008 saying it's not compatible with Vista but there is an update on the amazing website page for Vista that might work. There are several others too so make sure you get the Vista compatible update. I know you said you'd already done updates but this is what I just found as well.
