Jami - Just curious if you have thought about having Embroidables a Facebook page? There are several shops that have pages and they get LOTS of free advertising. It may increase the number of people on this site, plus I know it will increase your business. So many of my friends use several sites off Facebook to order designs all the time. I love Embroidables and I think it would be worth your while. Just wondering.....Thanks for being so GREAT! I will mind my own business now!LOL:vroam:

Granny 313 - Too funny! I had just emailed Jami recently and asked her if she'd considered a Facebook page. I totally agree that it would enhance the profile of embroidables.com. It seems everyone is using Facebook.
Could you explain to me, however, the free advertising that you mention?
Thanks!
Kim

I thought that Embroidables had a Facebook, but now I can't find it, so maybe I imagined it!

Nope, you didn't imagine it. We did have one, but SOMEONE, no names mentioned, messed it up so I had to delete it. BooHoo. It's on my list of stuff to do...right after the MP3 player instructions a gazzillion patient souls email me about daily. Wink, wink!!

Jami ~ You might want to go check their rules on business sites now because they've been cracking down on the smaller businesses and making them remove things. They don't allow any giveaways and/or lottery types of things on FB because the laws are so varied between states and the governement. There are different ways to have a FB page too with one being where you can 'like' one but don't have to give them access to seeing your own pages (like mine or other members) by 'friending' them. I don't know much about how to set them up at all but I do know they are different and that you cannot do any giveaways now unless you pay them money as a business site.

Thanks for the heads up, Vicki. I'll have to be sure to check that out so I set it up properly.

Kim - I was just saying that the Facebook Page itself is advertisement. If you post pix, etc or your products and people "like" it - by word of mouth, etc. people suggest it to their friends and there is your ad! Make any sense?

I'm sure glad you had the same problem. I did a search on FB and found it but it linked right back here. :(
The new stuff at the top of the page just above the message board area shows Share FB Email print etc but it doesn't go anywhere either.

Sorry for the confusion. We still don't have a company facebook page, but it's inching it's way to the top of my list. The facebook icon on the little bar is actually a way for you to let others know about us and make some money at the same time. You can read more about it here.
