Black Friday

Did anyone venture out? SIL and I did at about 4:30 and stood in line at Target. Got the baby a new wagon and the two older girls video rocker chairs. And of course I had to hit up joanns for the .99 flannel plus 20% off at the register. :) Now to start sewing it all up! That may take awhile. :D

I work retail, and every year I swear I'm going to quit before Christmas. And every year I don't. I guess i'm just a masochist. :eek:

I go shopping on Black Friday every year. I didn't go out as early this year and then I had to be at my retail job at 10:00, so I didn't get to shop as much as I usually do. :(

My philosophy is to go out and have fun....once I stop having fun I go home. :p

I stayed at home and embroidered! Hubby was here to watch the little one, so I had to take advantage of the time to work.
I did do quite a bit of shopping online the day before Thanksgiving. There were alot of sales to be had.
I would have never thought to go to the fabric store the on Black Friday. Now that sounds thrilling! Maybe I will try that one next year. How early did they open? We have a Hancocks here. Did they have alot of good doorbusters?

No shopping for me. I had to work. The mall here was a mad house, though. Not my kind of fun.:rolleyes:

I had the day off from my actual job and ended up working for my husband in his jewlery store in an outlet mall that opened up at MIDNIGHT...it was insane with people..there were 4 traffic accidents near the entrance with people trying to rush around. Then I got off work at 5am and went to Walmart to by a toy for my nephew and a shopvac for my stepdad. I went back to work at the jewlery store at 3pm on friday and worked until closing at 10pm. THAT was masochism on top of Masochism
