Hi all!
I am still struggling with my little embroidery machine. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I follow all the steps to thread the cart., load it into the machine, press down... and the thread comes out but it is not being pulled through the needle hole.

Thinking the needle was bent, I changed to a new needle and am still having the problems...

What do all of you think I might be doing incorrectly? Again -- I followed the directions for threading, even followed the manual.

And when I do finally get the thing threaded, there's a ton of spool thread showing on the underside. I raise the tension number and there is still top thread on the underside but with bigger loops.

Getting frustrated!!! Please help!

Thank you for your time!

Thank you Be Joyed for your quick reply!!!

Until I can do several on scrap material, will I actually dig into the Christmas gifts. Hate to trash perfectly good items on a barfing machine!

Unfortunately I purchased the machine online, so I will have to bring the machine to a local dealer and pay for the check-up. Oh well. (If I keep having the problems, that bill will be an early birthday gift. )

Did you ever figure out what the problem was?

Sort of... I took it to the best repair shop. He hates brother machines but after going over mine with a fine-tooth-comb and it came out with a clean bill of health. Repair shop still doesn't like brother machines but admits this one is in ok order.

After having her private parts poked and what-not it stopped doing all the things I was struggling with. Instead, she started to break her top thread on me!!! After rethreading and suffering the problem 2 times (using the Brother thread that come with my machine) I set the sppol aside and tried another, newer spool of thread and have had no more of those problems either.

I haven't had a chance to use it in the last couple days and when I do, it's not a lot. I use it mostly to test my digitized illustrations, before selling (which is SO IMPORTANT, because I like knowing the design stitches cleanly.)

Thanks for keeping an eye on this thread! I am sorry I left those interested, hangin!!!!

That's good to hear that you can use it. I hate to be without my machine even if I'm not embroidering.
